To paraphrase what has been said on Biggest Loser from time to time - you don't just wake up one morning weighing over 400 pounds. Sometimes it's just a matter of having given up on yourself, been beaten down one too many days and you just can't find the energy to care anymore. But often in the extreme cases there is a trigger event where everything changed. Even decades later it can be such a challenge to re-wire the brain and it's responses to stress, pain, pleasure, etc.

My biggest challenges have never been with the gym, scale, or waistline - the biggest challenges is always what's going on in my head.

Wow Mark. Just wow. What an incredible story. Thank you for sharing it with us. I think too often those of us who have struggled with weight issues and obesity are simply seen as lazy, not strong enough. The reality is that everyone has a story. Overeating and food are just symptoms of long buried emotional hurts and wounds. I am happy to hear that you've been able to forgive your parents in the midst of changing your life. I am praying blessings over you and your family this Christmas! May you know the love and peace of Christ.

Blessings! Kristi

One thing I would really like to reply to is that weight loss program fast may be possible by the suitable diet and exercise. An individual's size not just affects the look, but also the overall quality of life. Self-esteem, major depression, health risks, plus physical ability are afflicted in fat gain. It is possible to make everything right and at the same time having a gain. If this happens, a condition may be the root cause. While a lot of food instead of enough work out are usually accountable, common health concerns and traditionally used prescriptions could greatly amplify size. I am grateful for your post right here.
