It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted anything – the last few weeks have been a real challenge and I’t just not been in a great sharing mood I guess.
Weight loss – 2lbs this week to a current weight of 285.0
Total weight loss of 130 lbs.
Since starting I’ve lost over 31% of my starting body weight and for my goal of getting to 200 from 415 I’ve at the 60% mark. Well over half way.
The tough thing I’m facing right now is a slight foot injury. pulled something pretty bad in the right ankle/arch area. It’s been x-rayed and there’s no breaks or fractures. But after 3 weeks it still hurts and limits what I can do on my cardio a bit.
I was off the treadmill totally for a week or two, started getting into rowing. Have also been using a stairmaster from time to time. While I’m able to get back on the treadmill now I still can’t reach my previous speeds without the pain getting to be too much.
So between that and a lot of other stress items going down, it’s been hard to make progress at all.
In some ways it’s kinda bizarre, I mean how does someone who has lost 130lbs in 8 months get discouraged? Simple, it’s just one more aspect of this being a much more mental game than a physical one.
