Had to share this, last week StacyZ found a picture of me being used and wanted to make sure I knew about it. Well for my stock photography I’m one of my own best models however I seldom get to see the images being used or even know where so it was fun to see one of myself getting used, and it such a fitting way.

The article looks at links between debt and obesity. One of the striking factors they mention something that was touched upon in the movie Food Inc (which really should be a MUST see for everyone) is the price disparity between unhealthy foods (much of which is due to government subsidies) and healthy food.
I can get a value meal for $2.99, two patty cheeseburger, fries and softdrink. Probably over 1000 calories, most of which come from fats. Healthier food on the other hand cost more and are harder to find.
MIght not seem like the most flattering way the photo could have been used, but it’s a story that needs telling and the photo was a perfect match for the article content.

Mark, this is amusing! Thanks for blogging about your weight loss. This is generous of you.
